Product Description This beautiful Oval Raku ceramic Vase is made from local sayong clay which does not crack during firing as stands to thermal heat shock. It is semi glazed finish, after firing it is covered with carbonized saw dust during the cooling down period to get this finish. The Labu Sayong vases are covered with a huge amount of rice “Padi” husk after firing to get the black colour. The colour is a mixture of 90% copper powder and 10% of glaze and water, the mixture is splashed on the vase at random and spontaneously it gives this colour effect and pattern.

Product Description A very eye catching Globe shaped Raku vase is moulded to get this shape. It is also made from Sayong [ local ] clay since it doesn’t crack during firing, as it stands to thermal heat shock. The colour is the result of pouring the mixture of 90% copper powder and 10% glaze and water over the vase and the pattern formed itself as it drips down the vase. It is semi glaze and special is used to protect the colour against UV preventing the colour from fading.
